On Fridays at The Well at Oxon Run, 300 Valley Ave. SE, through Sept. 11, join DC Greens for open harvesting hours from 4 to 7 p.m. During Evening Harvest, community members are invited to gather fresh produce directly from the fields. Each person may harvest up to five pounds of produce per visit. As long as produce is available for harvest, all are welcome to pick their own. Space is limited and advanced sign-up is required. This event is open to harvesters of all ages. Attendees who are 17 or younger must be accompanied by an adult 25 or older. Register at www.dcgreens.org.
