Destination Tomorrow Opens DuPont Center

Destination Tomorrow, a national LGBTQ+ organization, has expanded their services with the opening of their third location in DuPont Circle.

The new center, located at 1701 Q St. NW, will provide real-time support for the LGBTQ+ community and aims to “fill resources gaps and advocate for visibility in the country’s political epicenter” for “vulnerable members” of the community.

The organization has served more than 80,000 individuals since its inception in 2009. Their work has provided valuable resources for communities in both New York and Atlanta. In addition to healthcare, the organization offers holistic, comprehensive programs and assistance for education, housing, finance and more.

In addition to providing mental, economic and social care, the organization also plays a “key role” in advocating for local and national policy. Founder and Chief Executive Officer Sean Ebony Coleman expressed excitement about the ability to expand to the District and continue this important work.

“Operating in the country’s political epicenter will allow us to more effectively advocate for policy reform and bridge the severe gaps in service equity,” Coleman said. “We are humbled to stand alongside fellow organizations that have long been at the forefront of driving political change toward greater inclusivity and equity.”
