Help Name the Golden Triangle’s New Street Sweeper

Don’t miss your chance to help the Golden Triangle BID name their new, bright yellow electric-powered street sweeper.

The SmartWind sweeper features fully electric technology and a “steer by wire” system that improves safety and maneuverability for small outdoor spaces like sidewalks and alleyways. The sweeper’s new technology will also help team members swiftly, effectively and safety remove debris from the city streets.

As first BID in the world to achieve LEED certification, the new sweeper “embodies the Golden Triangle’s dedication to sustainability.” The BID’s ambassadors work tirelessly year round to clean and maintain the neighborhood through trash and recycling pick up, landscaping, graffiti removal and more.

The BID will solicit community feedback to select a name for the sweeper. Residents can submit up to five name suggestions per form. The winner will have the opportunity to have their photo taken in the driver’s seat, and the winning title will be displayed on the exterior of the sweeper.
