Spring into Summer with Outdoor Activations Downtown

Find fun, entertainment and community at this summer’s Golden Triangle BID’s Outdoor Activations. As the days get longer and the weather warms up, join your neighbors outside for a variety of activities and programs all season long.

The GLDN+ Outdoor Office returns to public parks downtown including Farragut Square Park (912 17th St. NW), Longfellow Park (1799 M St. NW), Monroe Park (Pennsylvania Ave. and I Street NW) and Murrow Park (1872 Pennsylvania Ave NW). Take your work outside or work collaboratively at socially distanced tables and chairs. Free wifi is available in all parks. The set up will be available through October 31.

Live music, theatre and dance performances highlight the GLDN+ “Lunch Culture” series. On various dates from June through September, the community is invited to enjoy the free performances in Murrow Park from 12 to 1:30 p.m.

If you seek some friendly neighborhood competition, look no further than Farragut Field Days. On various dates from June through September, kids and adults of all ages are invited to participate in select tournaments and field games in Farragut Square Park from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
