Celebrate Earth Day in the Garden

In celebration of earth day, The Woodrow Wilson House (2340 S St. NW) will unveil their newest addition: a vibrant plant garden.

Beginning April 22, a vibrant native plant garden will open to the public, and the house will debut their new self-guided garden tour. The tour will include information about featured varieties of flowers, trees, and shrubs in the gardens.

The gardens will be open and available from 3 to 5 p.m., and the tour will be free and open to the public.

The Woodrow Wilson House is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 12 to 3 p.m. All museum tours are guided and must be reserved in advance. Visit woodrowwilsonhouse.org for more information about their earth day celebrations and upcoming events.
