Look into the Future at Human Museum

The Rorschach Theatre (1020 Connecticut Ave. NW) will transform into a futuristic society this spring with a production of “Human Museum”.

The show will provide attendees with a unique experience that begins in the lobby, transformed with gift shops, several exhibits and a bar, before transitioning into the theatre for a 90 minute performance.

This “darkly comic” new play by Miyoko Conley was developed in last year’s magic in rough spaces play lab. The story follows a group of robots on Earth as they create a museum exhibition dedicated to humans on the 100th anniversary of their extinction.

Now in it’s 25th season, the Rorschach is a part of the Golden Triangle BID’s “Grow Golden” pop-up initiative that works to transform vacancies in the corridor into vibrant, thriving storefronts.

The theatre will host three “pay what you can” previews April 12 through 14 at 8 p.m. The show will then run Thursday to Sunday through May 5. Tickets can be purchased here are $50 for adults, $35 for students and seniors.

Visit rorschachtheatre.com for more information about the production and upcoming events at the theatre.
