Visit the Dupont Cherry Blossom Pop-up Market

Celebrate small spring with small businesses at the inaugural Cherry Blossom Pop-Up Market. More than 75 different vendors will fill the streets near Dupont Circle from Saturday April 6 through Sunday April 7 from 12 to 5 p.m.

The event is being held as part of a fundraising effort to support Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets and will feature a variety of locally owned businesses, museums and markets.

The market will be in operation on Saturday April 6th and Sunday April 7th from 12 to 5 p.m. in the following locations:

● along the 1600 and 1700 blocks of Connecticut Ave. NW

● along the 2000 and 2100 blocks of P St. NW

● along the 1500 and 1600 blocks of 17th St. NW

Additionally, local museums and institutions will host special, spring-themed events on Saturday including:

  • The Heurich House Museum (1307 New Hampshire Ave. NW) will feature History in the Garden: An exploration of Karla Heurich’s time living in Japan from 1948-1950 as part of Castle Blooms from 12 to 3 p.m. The bar will also serve  is having History in the Garden: An exploration of Karla Heurich’s time living in Japan from 1948-50. Specialty cherry blossom mocktails and craft making will also be available for attendees.
  • The Dupont Underground Artisan Market will also feature a variety of vendors and artists from 12 to 5 p.m.
  • Ìpàdé’s Makers Market (1734 20th St. NW) will host a pop-up experience featuring Black, women-owned businesses selling handmade, accessories, cosmetics, clothing, home décor, candles, art, wellness products, and more from 12 to 4 p.m.
