Celebrate Holi in DuPont Circle

Celebrate Holi with a day of dancing, music and powder throwing in Dupont. The event, which marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring, will feature celebrations of color, love and spring.

The festivities will take place in Dupont Circle Park (7 Dupont Circle NW) from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday March 24. At 2 p.m., The Ven Hotel (2015 Massachusetts Ave. NW) will host dancing and powder throwing.

General Manager of The Ven hotel Jennifer Goodman encourages the public to “come and dance or buy colored power to celebrate Holi” while enjoying a featured Indian dish at their restaurant, Fred & Stilla.

The festival will partner with The Ven hotel and the Embassy of India for the 2024 event. “We are so excited to be partnering with The Ven hotel to expand this popular festival – now in its third year,” Chair of the Dupont Circle BID Patrick Kain said.
