This holiday season Wreaths Across America invites residents across the DMV to “remember the fallen, honor those who serve and teach our children the value of freedom” during the annual wreath laying.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday Dec. 16 at 8 a.m. Thousands of volunteers will come together to lay more than 250,000 wreaths at veteran’s graves across the Arlington National Cemetery throughout the day. You can register to attend here.
If you can’t make it to the Saturday event, wreath sponsorships are available through the website and can be accessed here. This year more than 160,000 of the wreaths have been sponsored thus far.
