Visit Franklin Park’s Winter Wonderland

Witness holiday toys come to life, explore a frozen ice sculpture land, create holiday themed crafts and more at the annual Frosted experience at Franklin Park (1315 I St. NW).

From now through December 17, opportunities to explore holiday-themed decorations and exhibits, meet Santa Claus and the Grinch and more are sure to bring holiday magic and joy to the entire family.

This year’s event includes several lands and exhibits to explore throughout the park. The designated areas are open December 9 through 10 and December 16 through 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. and include:

  • Ice Sculpture Island
  • Frozen Candy Land
  • The Illuminated Story of Baby and Momma Bear
  • Holiday Lane

The Snow Globe Main Stage will provide live entertainment with featured performances on Saturdays at 4 p.m. including:

  • Frenchie Davis, Brad Linde and Holiday Carolers by Romez3Arts on December 9.
  • Kyaira, Justin Trawick and Holiday Carolers by Romez3Arts on December 16.

A variety of crafting workshops will also be held as a part of the Frosted Maker’s Market. Advisors will lead participants through the creation of candles, wreathes, gingerbread houses and more throughout the event on select days.
