Holiday Festivities in Adams Morgan

Adams Morgan is ready for the holidays, and with free, family-friendly events all month long there is sure to be something for everyone in the family.

Kick off the season at the neighborhood’s holiday display unveiling event on Tuesday Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at the plaza in front of Truist Bank (Columbia and Adams Mill Roads NW). Local band Gotcha Covered will provide live entertainment and hot chocolate and apple cider will be provided.

All month long, neighbors and visitors can experience the interactive light display. Street light decorations can also be found throughout the neighborhood.

The BID is hosting a “Ginchmas” event on Saturday Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the plaza in front of Truist Bank (Columbia and Adams Mill Roads NW). The community is invited to come meet the Grinch and take photos. Neighbors can also enjoy face painting by Cindy Lou Who while listening to live music provided by the Dickens carolers.
