Get into the Halloween spirit at the National Zoo (3001 Connecticut Ave NW) as the annual Boo at the Zoo returns this weekend. This year, the Boo at the Zoo event will take place Friday through Sunday Oct. 19 through 21. The zoo will be open late from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
The event invites guests of all ages to experience the National Zoo after-hours. Access to animal viewing at the Elephant Community Center, Small Mammal House and Reptile Discovery Center will all be available throughout the duration of the event.
Guests are also invited to use their souvenir tote bag at the 30 trick-or-treat stations around the Zoo for special Halloween-inspired treats.
Tickets and parking passes are available online. Boo at the Zoo tickets are $25 for members, $35 for the general public and parking passes are $30. Visit nationalzoo.si.edu for more information and to purchase tickets.
