PorchFest Rescheduled for November

Due to inclement weather, the Adams Morgan BID has rescheduled the PorchFest neighborhood music event for November 4 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Businesses, residences and public performance venues will host more than 100 musical groups in a variety of genres including rock, funk , go-go, jazz, classical, pop and more. Each location will host several 45 minute music sets.

Due to the growing popularity of the event, this year’s Fall PorchFest will feature two main stage locations: The Plaza Main Stage and the Atena Main Stage. With such an extensive line up, there is sure to be a performance for everyone.

This year, there will also be road closures in effect for the event. 18th St. NW between Columbia Rd. and Kalorama Rd. NW will be closed to vehicular traffic to insure safety and accessibility of participants to the performances throughout the afternoon.

Organizers are still seeking volunteers to assist with the event. All who participate will receive a free t-shirt, Adams Morgan swag and food and beverages throughout the day. You can sign up to volunteer here.

You can find an interactive map of all of the performance locations throughout Adams Morgan here. Visit AdMoPorchFest.com to learn more and admodc.org for more information about upcoming events in the neighborhood.
