Pick up some new reading material and enjoy live guitar music at the Book Festival in Dupont Circle. There will be books for sale from a variety of different genres and reading levels.
The Dupont Circle BID and non profit Turning the Page are partnering to host the event on Saturday Oct. 21 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Dupont Circle Park.
Turning the Page links public schools, families and the community so that students receive valuable educational resources. Executive Director of the Dupont Circle BID Bill McLeod expressed excitement about the partnership and the event for the community.
“By pairing music and books, we are able to create a relaxing and educational afternoon in the park welcoming to all people,” McLeod said.
