Eat, drink and enjoy German-inspired activities and live music at the Dupont Circle Oktoberfest celebration.
The event will take place on Saturday Sept. 9 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free, and registration is not required to attend. The first 500 attendees will receive a free pretzel.
The local German band Lost Lederhosen will perform live music throughout the day. The band specializes in a diverse collection of classic melodies, such as “Fliegerlied”, “Sweet Caroline”, a brass band version of Sweet Child O’ Mine, “I Will Survive” and more.
A beer garden will be set up across the street from the Dupont Circle Hotel (1500 New Hampshire Ave NW). Food trucks and local restaurants will also be featuring food and drink specials for attendees all day long.
