Get ready to rock out to the best DC bands this weekend at Adams Morgan’s Spring PorchFest. On Saturday, May 20, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. more than 70 local music groups will transform residential porches and local parks into performance stages across the neighborhood.
The lineup includes many of the District’s favorite groups and a variety of genres including: rock, funk, go-go, bluegrass, classical, pop and more. Headliners include Gordon Sterling and The People, Fanfaire, Bryan Lee Music and The Experience Band.
This year’s festival also offers more than just music. Attendees can pick up a wristband at the plaza (located at the corner of Columbia and Adams Mill Roads NW) that will serve as a coupon for several local restaurants, bars and businesses throughout the day. Discounts range from food and drink specials to giveaways and all day happy hours.
Over the past 10 years, the Adams Morgan Business Improvement District (BID) has hosted PorchFest in the fall, but popular demand has added this weekend’s event. A fall PorchFest is scheduled for October 2023.
You can view the official, interactive digital map of the festival and all of the performance venues here. Visit admodc.org for more information about the Adams Morgan BID.
