Celebrate Asian Heritage at Fiesta Asia

Experience Asian cultures and flavors without ever leaving home as dancers, vocalists, cultural exhibits, martial artists, vendors and more line Pennsylvania Avenue NW this weekend in a celebration of Asian culture and heritage.

As a part of the month long Asian Heritage Month celebration, this Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., over 1,000 performers, street vendors, artisans and organizations will represent more than 20 cultures through art, dance and demonstrations. A cultural parade will begin at 1 p.m. and begin at Pennsylvania Ave NW and Third Street.

There will also be a street fair complete with food vendors, exhibits, free samples and more.

The annual festival will take place on Capitol Hill along Pennsylvania Avenue NW (between Third and Sixth Streets). This event is free, and no advanced registration is required. You can learn more about the festival at fiestaasia.org.
