More than 25 European embassies will open their doors to the public this Saturday, May 13, for a full day of cultural events, food, drinks and more.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. all are welcome to visit the embassies which will feature live music, cultural activities, cultural foods and many other surprises. You can view a list of all participating embassies, their addresses and planned activities here.
In the evening, head to Audi Field (100 Potomac Ave SW) for European Heritage Night as DC United takes on Nashville SC. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. You can purchase tickets at the special event rate here.
This annual event occurs on the first Saturday after Europe Day, May 9, marking the signing of the Schuman Declaration establishing the European Coal and Steel Community which became the European Union as we know it today.
This event is free, open to the public and there is no advanced registration required to participate. You can learn more about the event and the diplomatic service of the European Union at eeas.europa.eu.
