As a result of last weekend’s inclement weather, the Petworth PorchFest has been rescheduled for Saturday April 29. The event, originating in 2021 as a way for neighbors to connect safetly amid pandemic restrictions, returns for its third year bringing music and community to the neighborhood.
Residents will host local bands and music groups on their porch for both residents and visitors to enjoy together. Performances will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. across the Petworth neighborhood.
Performances include a variety of genres including: children’s music, classical, folk, electronic, punk, disco and more. You can view the full schedule of performances here.
PorchFest is still looking for volunteers to assist with social media support, event logistics and event outreach. You can learn more about the opportunities and sign up here.
