Explore the District’s Ale Trail

Back for its second year, the Metropolitan Beer Trail will again invite DC residents and visitors to explore the best NoMa brews.

The challenge, which will run from April 14 through December 31, will award 100 points to each participant per visit to a participating brewery. Points can be redeemed for prizes throughout the remainder of the year.

Participants will be able to download their trail passport to track their progress beginning Friday April 14. The passport will allow participants to check in to each establishment they visit using GPS location.

Each location can be visited up to once per day to earn points that can be used to redeem rewards like beanies, commemorative t-shirts and koozies. One grand prize winner will be crowned the Metropolitan Beer Trail ‘MVP’ and receive a $25 gift card to each participating restaurant.

  • Andy’s Pizza and Beer Hall (51 M St. NE)
  • Crooked Run Fermentation (550 Morse St. NE #120)
  • The Highbinder Bar (630 Rhode Island Ave. NE)
  • Lost Generation Brewing Company (327 S St. NE)
  • Metrobar (640 Rhode Island Ave. NE)
  • City-State Brewing Co. (705 Edgewood St. NE)
  • The Dew Drop Inn (2801 Eighth St. NE)
  • The Eleanor (100 Florida Ave. NE)
  • Red Bear Brewing Co. (209 M St. NE)
  • Right Proper Brewing Co. (920 Girard St. NE)
  • Wunder Garten (1101 First St. NE)
