Funded by District Department of Energy and Environment, and in partnership with Audubon Naturalist Society, Rock Creek Conservancy, Potomac Riverkeeper Network and Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, Anacostia Riverkeeper volunteers will monitor 22 sites in the District across the Anacostia, Rock Creek, and Potomac watersheds.
Monitoring will occur weekly, for E. coli, turbidity, water temperature, air temperature, and pH. Trainings are on April 8 and 25, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
